Salame Felino is a particular type of Italian cured pork sausage that has been slow-aged. Authentic Salame Felino is guaranteed by its IGP label, which stands for Indicazione Georgrafica Protetta (Protected Geographical Indication). It is made from meat that only come from pigs raised in Italy without any added hormones. The meat is soft to the touch, with a sweet peppery taste and delicate aroma. It goes well alone, with some good bread or together with cheese.
