Salame Milano originated in Milan during the Renaissance era. Only valuable lean and fatty Italian pork is ground into a 'grain of rice', flavoured with salt, garlic and ground black pepper. The attention to the stewing, drying and seasoning phases give it an unmistakable aroma and delicate taste.
